Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Powers Computing, LLC (“Powers Computing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects through this website and when you reach out to us, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: when you text, call, or email, that message comes straight to us and is used only to help you. We don’t sell your information — ever.

1. Scope of this policy
This policy covers information handled through our website (powerscomputing.com) and information you give us when you contact us about our services. It does not cover how we handle data on the computers, networks, and systems we service for clients — that is governed by the written service agreement for each engagement (see Section 10).
2. Information we collect
This website has no accounts, no login, and no online checkout. We collect very little.
Information you give us directly
When you text, call, or email us — or use one of the contact links on this site — you may share your name, phone number, email address, and whatever details you choose to tell us about the help you need. We only receive what you actually send.
Technical information collected automatically
Our website is served by Cloudflare, our hosting provider. As with virtually any website, Cloudflare’s servers automatically process standard technical request data — such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time — in server and edge logs. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and protect against abuse. We do not combine this technical data with the contact details you send us to build a profile of you.
Our website also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, a service provided by Google. When your browser displays a page, it requests those fonts from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address and standard request data as part of delivering the fonts. Google states it does not use these requests to identify or profile individual users. We don’t control what Google does with that request data; its handling is governed by Google’s own privacy policy.
3. How we use your information
We use the information described above only to:
- respond to your message and answer your questions;
- provide, schedule, and follow up on the services you ask for;
- send you quotes, invoices, and service-related communications;
- operate, secure, and improve our website; and
- comply with our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising profiles, and we do not send marketing messages to people who haven’t asked to hear from us.
6. How long we keep it
We keep the messages and contact details you send for as long as needed to respond to you and provide services, and afterward only as long as we reasonably need to for business, tax, and legal recordkeeping. Technical server logs are retained by our host for a limited period under its own practices. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or it ages out of those logs.
7. How we protect it
We take reasonable, practical steps to protect the information we hold — including reputable, security-focused providers (Cloudflare and Microsoft 365), encrypted connections to this website (HTTPS), and limiting access to information to what’s necessary to do the work. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we treat your information with care.
8. Your choices & rights
You are always in control of what you share with us. You may:
- ask us what personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or update it;
- ask us to delete it, where we’re not required to keep it; and
- ask us to stop contacting you.
To make any of these requests, just contact us — we’ll handle it directly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy laws; we’ll honor those that apply to us.
9. Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Information on client systems
When you hire us, our work often involves access to your computers, networks, accounts, and data. How we handle that data — confidentiality, access, and security — is governed by the written service agreement for your specific engagement, not by this website privacy policy. If you have questions about how your systems and data are handled during a job, ask us before work begins and we’ll put it in writing.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our business or the law changes. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here, so it’s worth checking back.
